Your Feedback matters! - we need to improve

Hey guys !
The last series of tech demos were not up to our expectation due to a
variety of reasons .. but other than the fact that there was no live
demonstration .. please give your feedback regarding the demo.

I would like to admit that we were really confused as to how to
address the issue of the knowledge gap b/w the 1st-2nd and 3rd
yearites .
if you want/don't want the future tech demos to be more technical
please say so ..

also people who have taken the free bees please reply to this post
telling which freebie you have with you .. so that others can take
them from you when they so require ..

also - we need volunteers to put the solaris stuff on DC :)

Hello Rajat,

 

Well I did like the last lecture on solaris. It was really very good presentation and method of teaching. For first-yearites like us also, it was not very difficult to understand the topic, although our ignorance of the basics of the same do come in the way pf our better understanding of the subject. I dont know how you could manage to guide us from the grass root level, but if we get the basics then we might be able to do better justice to it. If there are any proper interactive online tutorials for learning from the basic, please do tell us about the same, maybe we could follow up on that and learn on our own. The technical level of the lecture, according to me was ok.

hi...
i think the lecture was gud.. but at the same tym i guess it shud
include more of live demos...on dat day i got dvds of open solaris..
build72.. n sourse code...
actually i had some problem....i created primary partition n installed
build72 dvd in dat n now solaris is running....but i dont know exactly
how to install the other one...presently i have given dat dvds to
other ppl...so dat the sharing part on dc hub is not hampered...
so can anyone plz help.. as in how to install the other dvd...
