June Update

Hi Folks
First of all sorry for the break, long time since posting any
information for you but here goes.

I hope the recession isn't effecting you and your club too much at the
moment it seems that work has been down a little and quite a few clubs
are struggling to make ends meet our 3 clubs Junction 27, Winchester
73, and The Beacon (Country Music Breaks) and Border post at Jacksdale
have been down on numbers just lately despite having good acts on and
we can only hope that things soon start to pick up. Bookings for
myself and Middy are certainly picking up

Country-Music-Breaks
We have had two wonderful weekends once again this year at the Delmont
Scarborough both being just about fully booked and next years weekends
are already well booked so get yourself booked in if you are thinking

Our friends Terry and Dora Harrison from York are also running a

Our Scotland trip Remains fully Booked an a reserve list is in place
we are getting excited about this one and have been given the go ahead
to run another week next year although we haven't any details as yet
We have had a couple of alterations to the artist list for this year
Ivor James has had to pull out due to family health problems so Billy
Leonard will take his place and The Red Canyon band have been replaced
by Bill Alexandra and his Trio Nebraska
As a reminder to all those going this year we need to have all

Duo
Middy and myself found that the name for the Duo (Dangerous Brothers)
was having a negative effect with some clubs and we were being refused
bookings as it was thought we were either too rocky or indeed a
problem band this being the point we have decided to re name the Duo
The Best of Friends as this truly represents what we are and indeed
not dangerous.

My recent holiday with Harry (brother in law) on motorbike to Austria
