If the app is open, or was open a few minutes ago, then everything works as it should. When the recipient is called, the phone rings.
But if the app has not been open for 1-2 hours, then the phone does not ring.

I have exactly the same problem.
I use debian OS with apache2 server, nextcloud server 24 and nextcloud talk 14.
My coturn server is set correctly and test is OK
I just tested your solution to send a text message before call and it works too.

Tip: On devices that run Android 8.0 and up, you can also talk to the Google Assistant when your device is locked when you say "Hey Google." Learn how to control what information displays on your lockscreen.

My Android application talks to a php server. I have Apache/php running locally on WAMP Server. I am running Windows 7. If I go to localhost on Windows 7 the site shows but on the phone it will look for localhost on the current Android OS so no site shows.

I managed to get around this by opening my apache configuration to the internet and then using my external IP address, this is annoying because I am on a dynamic IP and sometimes don't have internet (+ not secure).

Jon is correct that in the general case you cannot make the android device connect to a pc through the usb cable (a major difference from the android emulator where such connection is accomplished by an alias address). However, there are some things you can do:

Apparently, if you have froyo and the usb tethering option, turning this on will as a side effect establish networking over USB that allows the phone to contact the pc (just watch where you pc's internet traffic is going though)

If you wanted something on the pc to open a connection to something listening on the phone, you could use an adb port forward. But it sounds like you want a client on the pc to contact a server on the phone, so that won't work.

What you can do, if the computer is on the same wireless network as the Android device, is connect to the computer's internal IP. For example, on a typical home wifi router, the router is at 192.168.1.1, and the devices connected to it are 192.168.1.x. So if your Windows 7 PC is at 192.168.1.5, you should be able to access this from your Android device just fine...

I have latest firmware and software. I have read numerous issues with Arlo 2 Way Audio going back to 2018. Why is this an ongoing problem? In my case, like most of the others... When live, you have perfect audio response, you can hear the camera area. When you depressing the mic no problem. Person at camera hears no problem. Here is the problem... Once you release the mic button, you can no longer hear the audio at the camera. That sucks. It is obvious this is an ongoing problem with Arlo. What are plans to finally to fix this ongoing issue and when is the expected fix date?

Tried multiple times, but push to talk does not work and I don't hear any of my short sentences from camera. On my mobile arlo app has access to my microphone and I am using Samsung Note 8 ( Android ). arlo app and firmware is upto date.

Mine used to work fine when I bought them too. Yesterday I upgraded my Front door camera to an Arlo 3 and I tested it with my Android Note 10+ and it worked. I decided to test my other 5 Arlo Pro 2 Cameras but they did not work from my Android Phone. You press and hold the button to speak and you either hear nothing from the camera or something so low that you cant really hear it.

I went to my computer and opened up a Chrome Browser and logged in to My Arlo account and everything works from the computer browser so the problem is Android and the mobile app.

I also noticed that I could not hear Audio today on the Arlo 3. Tonight I am going to reset everything to factory default to see if that fixes anything but it is very annoying that Push to Talk is so hit and miss. It used to work when I first bought the kit so not sure why they cant fix it.

For personalized support specific to the Arlo products you own, access Support from within the Arlo iOS or Android App. Simply login to your Arlo App, go to Settings, Support, then select the Arlo product you would like support for.

With the other methods you are forced to make some choices such as which device is the host, or reference copy. One of the best I have seen (but not easy to use) is hosting the wiki on android with termux, basically you access the wiki on the android when at home via windows and local Wi-Fi to the phone. Depending on your needs such as a private wiki.

I store my tiddlywiki on Onedrive, I use it on PC in general way. There is an app called Tiddloid which you can find it here: GitHub - donmor/Tiddloid: Tiddloid is an app to work with locally stored TiddlyWikis. . When I need to open my wiki, I just open Tiddloid and access Onedrive to open it up. When I finish reading or editing, just close it and it will automatically save it on Onedrive.

Hi @Elijah, if you want to use the same TiddlyWiki from different devices, you need it to be served. Either you serve it yourself from one of your devices, in which case I heartily recommend that you investigate the rclone webdav approach, or as suggested by @Ste_W that you get tiddlyhost.com do it for you.

Well, a new trailer of DBFZ Story Mode came out, and it looks like Android 21 will be the main villain of the game, isn't that right? If so, could DBFZ be the first DBZ game where Android 21 will be the final boss? DBFan9000 (talk) 02:57, November 3, 2017 (UTC)

Don't get me wrong, it's VERY likely that her transformed state has some connection to Buu given her appearance and abilities and may make her part Majin. But we don't have details on that and should wait for more information, especially since her game comes out in a week. Personally I think givent the tail and her keeping her hair, not to mention her having ears still, it's rather likely that she's turned herself into some Frieza/Majin/Human android hybrid. Or heck, even part Saiyan. We should wait before immediately saying she's a Majin. Gildeds (talk) 15:57, January 17, 2018 (UTC)

I would not be basing your performance off any devices older than android 10 at this point. Especially since most devices on Android 7 or older probably do not support WebGL due to Chromium blacklisting their GPUs by now.

In my case I have limited this as much as possible and if I can, instead of calculating collision I calculate the distance from one object to another, it can fulfill exactly the same function in many cases and it consumes less (limiting execution according to conditions).

Unstable android? Read here for some insight and make sure your recording app is not competing for use of the microphone.

Walkie-Talkies have proven to be one the best inventions in handheld technology, making communication an efficient process. If you wish to use one of these, but find it difficult to keep another device along with your smartphone, why not use the walkie-talkie functionality on your smartphone itself? Additionally, Talker impresses with super-fast push-button connectivity, ensuring instant communication at the touch of a button. The app facilitates multi-media messaging, allowing users to share various types of content with ease, along with broadcast messaging capabilities. Location sharing enhances the overall communication experience, while the option to replay messages and record messages offline offers added convenience.

Zello is a popular push-to-talk app for Android and iPhone, which has a slew of features to aid communication at the workplace. It offers real-time voice streaming, with a good-quality audio transmission. An advantage of using Zello is that you can map a hardware push-to-talk button. HeyTell might look like an archaic app given how the user interface looks, but it does a good job of providing you with a push-to-talk service. HeyTell is fully free to use and does not have any limit to sending messages. We observed that the app uses less amount of internet data, therefore you can use it without any issues even on a low-speed network. You can also create a group of up to 25 people. The app developers do claim that all forms of data and audio you transmit using HeyTell are encrypted in transit.

An advantage of Two-Way is that it does not require you to set up an account if you want to use the app. Therefore, no personal information will be collected by the app. If you have concerns regarding your privacy and not using in an enterprise environment while using push-to-talk apps, then Two-Way is the one for you.
