I set up last week a small home server with Arch Linux. Everything is working perfect but i have a small problem with smb shared folder. I would like to backup my phone with the Huawei Suite using the wifi but it can't find the shared folder. It write always to check if the Phone and the NAS are on the same network. I tried with an external app to manage file for Android and i can see all the shared folder. Yesterday just for trying I installed an Ubuntu on 2 different Virtual machine (1 one on Manjaro and one on Windows host) and i setted up samba. The Huawei suite can find immediately the backup folder on the wifi. I did the same experiment with Fedora and i have the same issue as in Arch.
I took the smb.conf file from Ubuntu and I copied it in Arch but still not finding the shared folder. I modified also /etc/hosts as it was in Ubuntu with any result. I also tried to disable the firewall without success. I checked the samba log file but i didn't find any error.

CBR works with HSS to automatically detect ransomware and back up data on cloud hosts, defend against ransomware attacks in real time, and provide end-to-end protection for cloud hosts. Anti-tampering and anti-deletion technologies prevent attacker access and protect your backups, which can be used to restore data quickly.
2.Select the data you want to back up, then click Back Up. If you want to encrypt the data, select Encrypt with password. Click More Settings to view or change the backup data storage path on your computer.
But Huawei has a different vision for backup: a switch to Flash-to-Flash-to-Anything (F2F2X). And the change is already happening, with flash-based primary storage systems going mainstream, creating new data center scenarios and workloads.
In the integrated appliance scenario, Huawei OceanProtect integrate the backup software, backup server, backup storage, backup data management, and cyber resilience through data backup features, improving backup ecosystem compatibility, enabling efficient data backup and quick utilization, and reducing data protection costs.
Keep all the information on your device safe with Huawei Backup, an app offered by Huawei for its Android devices. This app makes it possible to create a secure copy of anything on your Android device and keep your data safe.
This app can create secure backups of your SMS and MMS messages, installed apps, photos, music, documents, call log, and anything else stored on your Android device. Once the backup process begins, all you have to do is wait until it completes, which will vary depending on the size of the backup.
Uptodown is a multi-platform app store specialized in Android. Our goal is to provide free and open access to a large catalog of apps without restrictions, while providing a legal distribution platform accessible from any browser, and also through its official native app.
A spare bypass switch is to give you a more secure backup experience. If the contactor is defective, manual bypass is ready to support. You can turn on the bypass mode to connect loads and power up again. No worries of failure, we've got your back from the start to the end.

For SSH connectivity you could verify via 'Test' button in SSH Settings for the device, and also via packet capture of the initial SSH handshake during the backup - this would show you the version of SSH used by IMC and device along with the cipher algorithms supported by each side.
You could verify the SFTP connectivity by opening a CMD and navigating to your iMC\server\bin directory. From there you should be able to execute the same command you can see iMC running according to the logs: psftp.exe -P 22 ad...@10.100.8.1
IMC fails to access some Huawei devices by using SSHv2. To solve this problem, use the undo ssh server authentication-type keyboard-interactive enable command on the devices to disable keyboard-interactive and then save the configuration.
There's no method I'm aware of to change the key exchange algorithm priority in the built-in putty/psftp of iMC. It's never been needed as SSH works fine with default priority with all other devices - it is rather odd that these Huawei switches require RSA. Do you know if there's any possibility to change this on the device side?
I don't think there's much you could do from the iMC side, but the latest iMC 7.3 E0705P10 does have an option to enable putty 0.70. This resolved a different issue where the SSH MAC algorithms did not match between iMC and the device (it supports only sha2-based MACs which iMC could not). Not sure it will help you in this situation, and would require an upgrade of iMC, but might be worth a try anyway.
When running iMC 7.3 E0705P10, create a file putty07 with no extension in /server/conf. Just a blank file with that name. Then restart iMC, and it will now use Putty 0.70 for tasks like config backup.
The Huawei backup box-B0 is an EPS switch which allows Huawei systems to provide backup power. If the grid fails it switches to backup mode. Once the grid recovers it will automatically switch back to grid-connected mode.

if you own a Huawei phone and have the HiSuite installed on your PC (for back-up or management of apps, images, videos etc. saved on your device) you have probably noticed that the Back Up function will also allow to encrypt the backed up files specifying a user password.
As a result of this backup the Huawei suite will create a folder on your PC called HUAWEI_model_name_YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS with a set of sub-folders with all the backed up files and folders. In case of encrypted back-up all the (non-system and app files) images, documents, videos and so on will appear with the same icon for all kind of files with a modified file name ending with .enc as extension file type.
Unfortunately once you have created this encrypted back-up on your PC you are not allowed to open the files even if you know the password. You can browse folders structure, moving files, but you cannot see files content.
6) finally go to the GITHUB page , scroll down at the Usage section and read the instruction , it's very simple, just open a command prompt with administrator privilege in the folder where you have unpacked the script of Point 2 and run the script as in the example
The Backup Box is used in a residential rooftop PV plant system to control the inverter grid-tied or off-grid state. When the grid fails, the inverter switches to the off-grid state and supplies power to off-grid loads in backup mode. When the grid recovers, the inverter switches back to the grid-tied state.
[Shanghai, China, September 22, 2017] At HUAWEI CONNECT 2017, Huawei and Commvault announced deepening of cooperation in data protection by making available the Hybrid Cloud Backup Solution for Huawei Cloud. This solution provides organizations with easy-to-use, economical and secure solutions for backup workloads running between traditional data centers and public cloud.
This Hybrid Cloud Backup Solution backs up data from traditional data centers or private cloud to public cloud platforms through the Commvault Data Platform. Data can be restored on-premise or in the cloud. Compatible with mainstream application systems, the solution provides protection for data in volumes, operating systems, application systems, databases, and virtualized environments.
Implementing data protection in hybrid cloud environments present challenges in management, cost, security, and a long list of other concerns. In terms of management, perhaps the most pressing challenge is finding ways to manage on- and off-premise data backup systems in a unified manner. Another concern is the high bandwidth cost in transferring data between WANs. In terms of security, a major worry is risks in transmitting data between the networks.
"Data is the core assets of enterprises in digital transformation. Its value can never be over-estimated. We are excited to be working with Commvault, to build hybrid cloud backup solution. The solution we release this time is to provide easy-to-use data management and secure data protection for hybrid cloud environments, which will help enterprises leverage cloud architecture to optimize data asset services. We will continue to innovate in the field of data protection so enterprise customers can rest assured their data is secure and always available." said Meng Guangbin, President, IT Storage Product Line, Huawei.
