StEPP Mentors,

I hope you are having an enjoyable summer so far, and educational rotations!
StEPP has been invited again to present on both days of Orientation during all three sessions. I am looking for volunteers to be a part of a very short presentation on the first days of orientation during a PCP portion of the morning after Dean Mandos, and then throughout the second days during a "mini organization fair" where you will interact with students and remind them of their mentor's contact info and answer any questions they might have.

The dates and times are:

Orientation Session 1
Day 1: June 18th aprox 10:30am
Day 2:  June 19th

a. 10:00 am – 10:30 am

b. 11:35 am – 12:05 pm

c. 2:50 pm – 3:20 pm

 

Orientation Session 2

Day 1: June 23rd aprox 10:30am

Day 2: June 24th

a. 10:00 am – 10:30 am

b. 11:35 am – 12:05 pm

c. 2:50 pm – 3:20 pm

 

Orientation Session 3

Day 1: June 25th aprox 10:30am

Day 2: June 26th

a. 10:00 am – 10:30 am

b. 11:35 am – 12:05 pm

c. 2:50 pm – 3:20 pm

Day 1 times are not finalized, but assume mid morning before noon. Day 2 times are final and you can choose which times during the day you can volunteer if not all of them work for you.

Please let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE which times and days you would like to volunteer so I can send a list back to Liz, who organizes orientation. I'll also send you more information about what to do on those days once I know who is coming.

StEPP is still in need of volunteers for orientation, starting THIS Wednesday. I finally have times for every activity. Please let me know as soon as possible if you will be around for any of these sessions or want more details:

Orientation Session 1
Day 1: June 18th 9:30am-10:15am (speaking last 10 mins only)
Day 2:  June 19th

For each academic session on Day 1, you will be speaking after Dean Mandos for about 10 minutes about StEPP in general. There is a 3 slide powerpoint to accompany you.
For each mini-organization fair, there are 3 different "sessions" throughout the day as you see listed. If you can only be at part of the day, that would still be very helpful!

There should be at least two mentors present for all activities, if possible. These can be mentors from ANY class year! We only have enough mentors on June 19th so far...
