Consider taking "SS 203:  Leadership Development Tuesdays, 4:00 pm until  6:50 pm with Susanne Ferrin & Ross Radish" this coming Spring semester to boost your leadership training and development. I did take this class as a 3rd year and thoroughly enjoyed every lesson. It is not a requirement to take this course as a mentor, but if leadership is your passion and you are looking to complete a sociology or general education unrestricted elective, I highly recommend this class!

Dear iLead Participants, Leadership Scholars and iLead Presenters:

 

Please know that the leadership class (SS203), taught by  myself and Ross Radish, will be offered this spring on Tuesdays from 4-6:50 pm.

 

I encourage you to consider taking this class if you are interested in learning more about leadership and / or you wish to complete Level 3 of iLead!

 

Course:            SS 203:  Leadership Development (3-credit hours)

Day/Time:       Tuesdays, 4:00 pm until  6:50 pm

Instructors:      Susanne Ferrin & Ross Radish

 

The course will satisfy either a Social Sciences requirement under Gen. Ed. or an Unrestricted Elective requirement.  The course is designed to provide students with an interactive and dynamic learning experience regarding leadership and related topics.  Students will learn applicable skills for leadership development as a student and for future endeavors by exploring theories, skills, and techniques.  Topics to be addressed are:  developmental theory, mediation, leadership styles, communication skills, diversity, ethics, and other topics effective leaders utilize.  Students will participate in "leadership labs" designed to bring theory into practice.

 

If you’re in Honors and considering taking the leadership class, the University is offering an Honors-only section on Wednesdays.
