Mentors,

I hope you are all having a nice summer!

It is already time to start planning for StEPP events for the fall and spring! Below is a link for a "sign up sheet" to be a part of the event coordinating teams for the events we have planned so far!

https://docs.google.com/a/mail.usciences.edu/spreadsheets/d/188FaKSxRFy1MQUuoVbkfx8TUO2r50T4lMalOGK1qSZk/edit#gid=0

The number range next to each event is approximately how many mentors are needed to organize each event, but that is flexible. Remember that this is NOT the final list of volunteers to participate in an event, just mini-organizing teams for each event. These teams will then send out emails asking for any additional volunteers or a Doodle to sign up for time slots or other help for the event. If you are not an event organizer, you can (and may be required to) participate in an event.

Teams will be responsible for picking a date, time, location, appropriate budget or supply requests, buying supplies, making and posting flyers and ads, creating an agenda for the event, setting up the event, making any surveys or Doodles necessary, and letting other mentors know when the event is. Dates should be sent in ASAP for approval, preferably within the next week!

Please sign up with your name and class year (P1, P2, ect), and put an asterisk (*) next to your name if you have organized this event before! It would be ideal to have at least one person who has organized the bigger events before sign up to guide and teach the other mentors how to organize that event. There should also be a mix of mentors from different class years organizing events!

Let me know if you have any questions about what is entailed in an event or any other questions!
Joellen

Note: PP190 will be organized separately
