Invoice Submission Process:

  • Daily Email Notifications: To keep you informed, we will send a daily email notification listing all invoices you've submitted during the day.
  • Reminder for Preliminary Invoices: Users will receive email notifications for invoices in preliminary status in the system for 7 days, serving as a gentle reminder that there are pending invoices on the site.
  • Streamlined Submission: One Submit button on Step 8 of invoice submission, and a confirmation message on the portal when the submission is complete.

The new portal provides the appropriate functionality in all stages of the Product Life Cycle for products of Process Instrumentation and Analytics.

The application guides you through Engineering & Selection, supports you at the Order and provides tools and information for Installation and Operation.

I was wondering if someone could help me out here. Maybe it is not the right place to ask but I'm working on a internship project where I'm trying to figure out for the company if ignition is a suitable SCADA option. They are working with Siemens Tia Portal and did use the HMI of tia portal but want to use the HMI/SCADA of ignition in the future. I have already configured lots of stuff but the biggest problem that I'm facing is the way to get my siemens tags into ignition. It already worked for me with OPC UA but Siemens is getting a limited with the amount of tags that I can import and it seems like they don't know the error themselves. I was trying to make an MQTT connection to send all Siemens plc tags to the MQTT server but could not send whole tag lists to the server. the only thing that I managed to do was send a topic with a message to the server and that's it.

The Media Portal and the materials are available in English and German. The roughly 1,300 Spanish media have been moved to our new CREA (Centro de Recursos Educativos Abiertos) educational portal for Latin America.

Please also change the DIs and DOs on the TIA portal side. Use slot 1 for DO512 and slot 2 for DI512. Reason: On the robot side you have slot 1 for DIs and slot 2 for DOs. It has to be the other way round on the PLC side.

You advise me to put DO on slot 1 and DI on slot2 (vice versa of the configuration in robot) but when I go online, in TIA portal, the modules are not green. That is why I place DI first slot, DO second slot.

Exchange the GSDML file in TIA portal. Make sure IP address and PROFINET device name are also correctly configured in TIA Portal. And again, please use the below slot order for DOs and DIs for the robot in TIA portal.

Now one week after Collision let me summarise what we learned from the audience about our Developer Portal:
Our Siemens booth was always crowded, was hard but joyful work!
The developer portal has been extremely well received. People liked the professional look & feel, as well as developer oriented UX and comprehensive materials. Most people visiting us were not aware of Siemens being a software company, kudos to @rado_r , Bettina Rotermund and the entire Siemens team.
Though we won a lot of praise, we figured out some areas to be improved (actually exactly what we wanted to get for our main launch at Web Summit ):

It was an absolute pleasure to present the hard work the team has been putting in for the developer portal.
The crowd at Collision was a delight to talk to and I am already looking forward to showing it to them next year!

A practical and accurate generalized in vivo dosimetry procedure has been implemented for Siemens linacs supplying 6, 10, and 15 MV photon beams, equipped with aSi electronic portal imaging devices (EPIDs). The in vivo dosimetry method makes use of correlation ratios between EPID transit signal, s (t) (0) (TPR,w,L), and phantom mid-plane dose, D (0)(TPR,w,L), as functions of phantom thickness, w, square field dimensions, L, and tissue-phantom ratio TPR(20,10). The s (t) (0) (TPR,w,L) and D (0)(TPR,w,L) values were defined to be independent of the EPID sensitivity and monitor unit calibration, while their dependence on TPR(20,10) was investigated to determine a set of generalized correlation ratios to be used for beams with TPR(20,10) falling in the examined range. This way, other radiotherapy centers can use the method with no need to locally perform the whole set of measurements in solid water phantoms, required to implement it. Tolerance levels for 3D conformal treatments, ranging between 5 and 6% according to tumor type and location, were estimated for comparison purposes between reconstructed isocenter dose, D (iso), and treatment planning system (TPS) computed dose D (iso,TPS). Finally a dedicated software, interfaceable with record and verify (R&V) systems used in the centers, was developed to obtain in vivo dosimetry results in less than 2 min after beam delivery.
