In just under 2 weeks time, December 10th, Hurtworld will be launching out of Early Access. This will include a patch introducing the new hand held rocket launcher, a new body kit for the Roach, and most importantly tons of bug fixes and polish.

The only reason official servers will go down from now on is due to DDOS attacks. We are being attacked roughly 4 times per day at different data centers around the world. We can freely move our game servers to different machines with a click of a button now, so as we find better providers that can tank the attacks we will be moving to them. Until then all we can do is wait for the attackers to get bored.
The wipe schedule for most of the official servers is coming up soon (You can see the time left in the server browser). Like last time, we will provide the savegames for anyone that wants to continue to play their progression in their own server.
Yesterday I bough Rust, because it was on sale on humble bundle and played it for a short time. The game looks good, but the interface isn't so nice as the one in Hurtworld, building and crafting is more simple and more enjoyable as getting resources too. I didn't played a lot of Rust, but for me Hurtworld is more fun. And for you guys? What do you think about it?
Entering the commands listed above into the autoexec.cfg will allow them to run each time the server boots.Your autoexec file will be called autoexec_default.cfg so just take out the _default and you are good to go.
2) Does anyone have any real-world numbers about the negative impact on INSERT, DELETE or UPDATE statements (I know it depends on the specific system, but nevertheless any kind of real-world measurements would be appreciated)?
Generally, you need foreign keys due to normalisation (which avoids duplicate data and synchronisation problems). Normalise to the 3rd degree, and then after analysing real world performance can you consider de-normalising.
For consistant uptime it is recomended you host a server in a data center. If you dont already have a server, you can rent a dedicated or vitual server from one of our sponsored providers, OVHCloud, Linode, Vultr.
Use debug mode to help you if you are having issues with the server. Debug allows you to see the output of the server directly to your terminal allowing you to diagnose any problems the server might be having.
LinuxGSM can monitor the game server by checking that the proccess is running and querying it. Should the server go offline LinuxGSM can restart the server and send you an alert. You can use cronjobs to setup monitoring.
So, no doubt, it has a lot of fans throughout the world. We all see a constant demand for Hurtworld servers. It even has its own Wiki, which shows its high status in the game community. Many gamers want to create their unique experience and share it with friends, so they start searching for how to host a Hurtworld server. We are here for you to help with this task!
This server hosting was founded in 2012 and has been operating for over 10 years for millions of users. Survival Servers is one of the fastest servers on the list, with top-tier hardware. Picky gamers could create their own rules with an advanced control panel.
This server offers to host a wide range of games: from popular ARK, DayZ, and CS:Go to indie stories like Starbound or Wreckfest. It has 11 data centers in various parts of the world, so users will have a great performance wherever they play. Host Havoc is a great Hurtworld hosting option for big teams because it can fit up to 100 slots in one server.
This server company has been a major player in the industry since 2008. They are famous for the fact that they are the first to host the most popular games. They can do this because they replace their machines yearly with the most modern top-tier hardware. As for 2022, they are running on i9 Chips and ultra-fast SSD drivers.
GTX Gaming provides game switching, so if users get bored they can easily change it to any available on the server. They also have 10 Gb fibers going into US and London locations. Users can set up international teams, and play at a comfortable tempo without any ping. So this Hurtworld server download speed will be pretty high in any configuration.
Streamline Servers provide various servers for gaming and working activity. They offer VPS, dedicated, voice, and game servers. The TCAdmin panel allows you to adjust the Hurtworld host server to your needs.
You also can add a high CPU priority and extra support (Silver Support) to rented Hurtworld server hosting. It will cost you an extra $5 and $10 per month, but it will give you much more comfort while using the Bisecthosting server.
Hurtworld hosting services can provide the best possible experience for cooperative mode fans. There can be dozens of players from different continents, and the game will run smoothly in all of them. It became possible through branched data center networks. But if you consider creating your own server with a home PC, be prepared for high ping for international teams.
Hurtworld game provides an exciting multiplayer action experience. This shooter has ever-changing gameplay, so users always find out how to entertain themselves. There is no wonder why so many people want to spend time here in cooperative mode.
When you are playing Hurtworld you might need to forward some ports in your router. Forwarding ports is a useful trick in gaming because it can really help to make your network connection most stable and intermittently even faster. Routers were not designed to allow incoming network requests and some games can play tremendously better if an incoming connection is forwarded through the router to the game.
Hi Paul, thanks for explaining this as you have, its great to be able to get some background on this sort of topic. I have tried the script on some of my servers here and have at the top of my list on one of them a Wait Type of DBMIRROR_DBM_EVENT which is explained in BOL as "Identified for informational purposes only. Not supported. Future compatibility is not guaranteed.". 4th in order on the same server is DBMIRROR_WORKER_QUEUE
with BOL saying "Indicates that the database mirroring worker task is waiting for more work." from that explanation I think I should be adding that to the excluded list but what should I do about the DBMIRROR_DBM_EVENT waits, is there any cause for concern or should I exclude that from the results too?
Yes, TRACEWRITE can usually be ignored. If the OLEDB are very tiny, less than 1ms, and there are tens of millions of them, then it is likely DMV execution from monitoring software. Otherwise it could be ad hoc DMV execution, DBCC CHECK*, or actual inked server queries. Could also be SSIS too.
Booting up Early Access survival sim Hurtworld for the first time, I thought I had a pretty good idea what awaited me. Set in an arid open world, the environment recalls the Australian outback as much as it does New Mexico, strewn with a bunch of sticks, stones and piles of mineral you can use to craft stuff.

The worldwide alliance was announced at the Dell Enterprise Forum in California on Tuesday. It will see the two companies work together on a "Joint Infrastructure Solution", and will also give punters a single point of contact from Dell for support.
By partnering with Dell for x86 servers, Oracle can concentrate on its engineered systems and perhaps its Sparc chips, and leave it to Dell to absorb the punishing margin reductions occuring in server-slingers across the world.
Oracle eventually restarted Itanium development, but we reckon the two-year period of mass confusion hurt HP to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. There are a heck of a lot more instances of conflict between Oracle and HP, but suffice to say it all went a bit Wagnerian, and neither company is particularly fond of the other these days.
Objectively, no. Different CDNs behave differently, but you still need to keep the same issues in mind. CDNs by definition operate as a proxy in between visitors and your server. You should still protect your site as you would otherwise, with two caveats:
As far as content, pretty much every CDN (beside QUIC.cloud) is a static content CDN. This means that the dynamic content (the main page itself and any other content that needs to run code) is not saved on the CDN server. QUIC.cloud is unique in that it is capable of caching the dynamic content on visits. Other CDNs have attempted to implement dynamic caching, but their implementations tend to lack robustness: inability to purge on clean up, inability to handle varied pages, etc.
CDNs can be a very powerful tool in making global websites operate efficiently all over the world. With their security features and caching abilities they bring a new layer of superior technology. QUIC.cloud CDN offers a quantity of free monthly bandwidth to all users, so give it a try today and see what change it can make for you.
