Hi Girls!

I know Singapore's not much of a seasonal country, but I have been really inspired by the pieces found on the Interwebs and on magazines. You'll find that the colour palette for Stephie's Shop is going towards an autumn palette for the next couple of months.

I have been determined to bring in pieces with a more cohesive theme, so you will find that the pieces on the shop have a stronger identity. This week, we have pieces that are very suitable for the workplace, as many of you have written in to request for more work dresses. I hope you like them!

I've also included printed pieces, such as the cherry dress and also a very cute umbrella print dress - I wanted to provide some feminine pieces for days when you just hope to have some colour in your life.

I'm really happy this week - I'm not sure if you know, but apart from running the shop, I am a freelance travel & luxury writer for international publications. This week, I received some very good news from my work that I really didn't expect! News like this really brings me hope and keeps me motivated... which translates to my preference for colours and prints in my wardrobe as I go about my day.

I've also included a special piece - have brought this in for the shop, but the other day, as I was surfing the 'Net, I found that British celebrity Alexa Chung (she had a Mulberry bag named after her) designed some pieces for Madewell, a U.S. clothing company. One of the dresses in the collection reminded me of a dress I have for you (which I've listed on the shop), please see below for visuals.

That's about all - as usual, I hope you have a lovely week ahead of you.

cheers
Stephie

The Black & White Peter-Pan Collar Dress is a piece which reminds me of the Tennessee Velvet Dress from the Alexa Chung for Madewell collection.

The only differences: This dress is made from cotton & short-sleeved, suitable for Singapore's weather, while the Tennessee dress is made of velvet & long-sleeved, made suitable for fall.
