I Already sync my photos, but what I want to do is to create on ALBUM on one device and have that album appear on other devices (specifically, to create an album on the iPAD and have it automatically appear on the iPHONE)

Hello, I suggest you use a tool like iPhone Transfer from RecoveryAndroid. It's a wonderful program especially for iOS devices. You can run it on computer and plug in iPhone and iPad. Then it will detect their data and show you in a list. You can choose and sync photos from iPad to iPhone.

So, you would go to the Albums view in Photos, then tap on the Album you want to have on your other device. Then, tap on Select>Select All, tap on the share button, then tap on iCloud Photo Sharing, the Shared Album window will diaplay, then tap on the bottom part of the window where you see an Album Name, tap on the + to add a new album, or select an existing album to add the photos to. Tap on Next, put in your Apple/iCloud ID, tap on Next, tap on Post:

I have many shared albums (shared with my wife :-) ) in Photos (without using the iCloud option for Photos). I typically add new images to my Photos library, create a new shared album, and then add these images to the shared album. I usually delete the original images from the library afterwards. Note that the images in the shared library may be lower resolution than the originals (maximum of 2048 pixels along the long edge of the image).

When you add a photo to an Album, you are not moving the file into some subfolder. All that happens is a reference to that photo is linked to that Album (which really isn't anything itself--there are no album folders in the Library).

Yes, I know the albums & folders are only links to the original photos in the library. With 2500 photos linked to 160 albums linked to 30 folders, it really would be nice to be able to export the "illusion" from one Mac Photos app to the other Mac Photos app. Maybe Apple can include that feature in an upgrade.

In the Albums tab, find the albums that you've created, shared albums that you've created or joined, and collections of different types of photos and videos, like Selfies, Portrait, and Slo-mo. You can also look at your photos arranged on a world map in the Places album, or browse your photos based on who's in them in the People & Pets album.

In iOS 16 and later, the Photos app can detect duplicate photos. If you have duplicate photos in your library, a Duplicates album is created automatically, and you can merge similar images to save space.

You can share photos, videos, and albums with select people, then allow them to add their own photos, videos, and comments. In the Albums tab, you can see the Shared Albums that you've created and joined. Learn more about sharing albums in the Photos app.

When you delete a shared album, it's automatically removed from all of your devices and the devices of your subscribers. If you turned on Public Website, the shared album is removed from the web, too. Deleting a shared album permanently deletes all of its photos. Before continuing, make sure that you save any photos that you want to keep.

To share an album with friends or family who don't use iCloud, open a shared album that you created, go to the People tab, and turn on Public Website. Your photos publish to a website that anyone can see in an up-to-date web browser.

When you add new photos, the people that you share the album with are notified automatically. Make sure that Subscribers Can Post is turned on so that they can add photos and videos, too. Just tap the More button then choose Shared Album Details .

If you're the owner of a shared album, you can delete any photos, videos, or comments from anyone. Subscribers can delete anything that they personally added. Anything you delete is automatically deleted from the album on all your devices and the devices of subscribers.

When you delete a shared album, it's automatically removed from all of your devices and the devices of your subscribers. If Public Website was enabled, the shared album is removed from the web too. Deleting a shared ablum permanently deletes all of its photos. Before continuing, make sure that you save any photos that you want to keep.

You can also share albums with friends and family who don't use iCloud. Just open a shared album that you created, click the People button in the toolbar, and turn on Public Website. Your photos publish to a website that anyone can see in an up-to-date web browser.

When you add new photos, the people that you share the album with are notified automatically. Open the shared album, click the People button in the toolbar, and make sure that Subscribers Can Post is turned on so that they can add photos and videos too.

A shared album can hold up to 5000 photos and videos. If you reach your Shared Album limit, you need to delete some photos or videos before adding new ones. The photos and videos you share (and the comments or likes associated with those photos) stay in iCloud until you or the contributor delete them manually, or until you delete the shared album completely.

I don't believe you can set your device to automatically save into a new album when you take a picture, you have to use the Share option. From what I read, you can set storage apps to be the default location, but without storage apps, the phots will auto-save to your device. So, each time you take a photo, you can use the Share option to save into the designated folder.

Saw your post when searching for a similar solution. Wanted to share that I was unable to find a way to access certain albums this route, however, I did find a workaround that seems to work for me. Rather than using the app, I opened the Concur webpage on my ipad. Then went to Upload Receipts and next to Available Receipts, I clicked Upload Receipt Image. When you click that it will open up your photos and give you the option at the top to toggle to albums, then select the album your receipts are saved in. Not sure why this same function doesnt work when trying to upload a single receipt for a specific expense, but this actually works better in selecting all your receipt phots at once to upload them in the receipt store of your profile. Give it a try!

A good photo book tells a story. It should draw you in and lead you from one page to the next. To achieve a compelling story, it helps to narrow the focus. Celebrate your Mom with a selection of special memories where she is the focus or you can even use events to help define your theme a little more. For example, why not celebrate a recent graduate with an array of beautiful graduation shots? The theme can be anything you like, but just remember consistency is key.

The style of your photo book is determined by the type of cover, the size, and the orientation. Hardcover books are often put on display, like a wedding album or a coffee table book. Whereas, a softcover is ideal for smaller photo projects. From there, pick the perfect photo book size. This decision largely depends on how many photos you have and where you want to display your photo book. The final factor is orientation. If your collection includes mostly landscape photos, pick a photo book that accommodates that. Otherwise, consider a portrait-style or square book to ensure you make the best photo book for iPad.

If you need to rearrange the pictures in one of your iPad's photo albums, you can quickly do so by dragging them to new locations. If you've synced the photos from iTunes, you'll have to move the photos to a new album on the iPad before you can rearrange them.

The difference is quite simple. An album will allow you to quickly add photos of a person, occasion, or event to group them together. On the other hand, a folder will only allow you to add existing albums and other folders to it rather than individual pictures.

An example of how you might use this would be to group pictures of your vacations together. You can create an album of all your photos from your trip to Germany and another separate album from your vacation to Spain. You can then create a folder named "Vacations" and add these two albums to it to organize them in one place.

If you ever want to add more photos to your album, all you need to do is scroll down to the end of the album. Next to your latest picture, you will see a photo icon with a plus(+) sign. Tap on it to begin adding new photos.

Once you're done, tap Add in the corner, and all your photos will be added. Alternatively, you can open the album you want to add photos to and press the icon with three horizontal dots to Add Photos, Rename Album, Delete Album, Share Photos, and more.

Folders and albums are fantastic for creating an immaculately organized photo gallery. Albums allow you to add pictures to categorize and group them together, whereas creating a folder will allow you to store multiple albums in one place.

In modern versions of iOS and iPadOS this process looks a bit different than it used to. For historical purposes, here are some screenshots of the photo albums renaming process on earlier iOS versions:

I followed these steps to rename one of my photo album folders, and it will not work. When Edit is selected, the only choice I have is to delete that photo album folder. My iPhone is running on iOS version 11.4.1

By default, any videos you record using your iPad's digital camera are saved to its Camera Roll, which is accessed through the Photos app. You can create as many different photo albums within the Photos app as you like and use them to keep your iPad videos and photos organized. Keeping your photos and videos organized using albums can be useful for separating work content from personal photos or for bundling images and videos together for different presentations or projects.
