I bought a starter plant in June '09 and it has grown to about 2' tall and produced 2 bloom spurs.  Twice now it has produced buds that fall off the plant before opening.

Can someone give me an idea as to what type of lighting and pot size this plant prefers?  I
am using VF-11 fertilizer but am willing to try something else if need be.

I'd appreciate any comments/ideas you might have.

I used to have the same problem with mine until I potted mine into a 4 inch self watering pot, so that the soil stays moist at all times.  It gets a indirect southern exposure to light all year long out in the Florida room. I use SuperThrive instead of VF-11, since that is what is available to me here, and have great results with it.

Thanks Regina...It's currently in a 4" pot but I'll try putting it on a wicking pot and see if I can find some superthrive.
