Hi all,

Building on the success of our national secondary school engagement programmes over the past decade, we are currently recruiting a new Researcher-Coordinator in Trinity College Dublin to work with secondary school science teachers and students over the next 2 years. We offer flexible and blended working, as well as support from an experienced and award-winning team. This is a unique opportunity to lead a project, publish and set yourself apart as a national project coordinator.

You will work with myself, members of the School of Physics, The National Gallery, UCC, ATU, Tyndall and Lifetime Lab to develop, rollout and evaluate a new guided inquiry workshop with secondary schools - in partnership with the ISTA.

Deadline is this Friday the 9th of January. Appointment will be made on the Research Ireland Experienced Postdoctoral Researcher (Level 2B) Pay scale [€54,850 – €59,655 per annum]

Trinity and Ireland have a thriving Science Education and Public Engagement (EPE) community - this new position offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, establish yourself in the sector, learn from the experience of an established team and network with the entire community at a variety of events. There will also be several opportunities to work with our industry, schools and other partners. I am open to questions and happy to have a chat with anyone who is interested. Thank you to all who have already applied, I look forward to receiving more applications

Regards,

John O'Donoghue
