Hi all

I'm sharing this invitation from the FabLab Network to invite teachers, tutors, youth workers, and STEAM practitioners to share how fabrication tools and makerspaces are transforming learning in Irish primary, post-primary, and youth settings.

The Fab Educators Submit is a virtual, community-driven event from the International Fab Educators Network (eduFAB) focuses on real classroom and workshop experiences, creative teaching strategies, and hands-on digital fabrication in education.

They are looking for practitioner-centred sessions like sucess stories and practices from those actively engaging children and young people through STEAM activities. Whether you teach in a school, run TY modules, coordinate a FabLab/makerspace, or deliver after-school and youth programmes, your work can inspire other educators worldwide.

Session options include:

  • 45-minute interactive virtual workshops

  • 20-minute focused talks

  • 5-minute pre-recorded lightning talks

When submitting, make sure your proposal centres on practice with school-age learners (primary, post-primary, TY, or youth programmes): lesson plans, projects, or approaches that build creativity, problem-solving, and confidence with technology.

Submit your proposal here: https://www.edufab.org/so/ffPfVDH_9?languageTag=en

This is a good opportunitiy to showcase how educators and makers across Ireland are leading innovation in school-based STEAM learning.
