Invitation: Transition Year Programme Shared Learning Event - 20 November, UCD

Hello!

I'm getting in touch to invite you all to a shared learning event that UCD Conway Institute & UCD School of Education are running that would be of interest to many of you on Thursday 20 November from 10:30am to 1:30pm at the Lecture Theatre in UCD Conway Institute. 

It is based on our TY programme CuriosiTY which focuses on increasing accessibility and inclusion in STEM by providing meaningful work placement experiences for secondary school pupils who might not typically have access to such opportunities. Please see details below, and if you know of anyone else who might find this event of interest, please do share it with them as well:

This shared learning event will bring together teachers, researchers, and education partners to:

• Share insights and outcomes from the CuriosiTY programme
• Launch a Best Practice Guideline for inclusive TY placements
• Hear directly from pupils, teachers, and researchers who have been involved in the programme

Tea/coffee and lunch will be provided.
