Hi all,

We have some great volunteering opportunities available on our National Team at Pint of Science Ireland. We would love to welcome those of you with an interest to our team and have several roles across graphic design, chapter management, social media and fundraising available.

Roles available:

📱 Social Media Management: Get hands-on experience in creating social media content about science and our festival! Work closely with our Outreach Manager and Digital Media Specialist to promote Pint of Science Ireland and our festival on our social media channels.

🖼️ Graphic Designer: Have an eye for the visual? Canva fanatic? Work as our graphic designer, developing a theme for our annual festival and designing our digital and print materials.

🌟 Chapter Managers (Dublin; Cork; Regional): The backbone of our festival! Lead on planning and executing our annual festival for your local area, manage volunteers and liaise with speakers and sponsors.

🪙 Fundraising Manager: Critical to ensuring our festival happens, get experience in fundraising and stakeholder engagement by generating funding opportunities in new locations, working on grant applications and liaising with festival sponsors.

As a charity, all of our roles are voluntary and unpaid. Volunteers are the backbone of our festival and getting involved is a great way to network, gain skills and contribute to one of Ireland’s biggest science festivals!
