Hi All:
Please read through the below emails.

Heather has suggested a possible team Fund Raiser. I think it is basically a big Pizza party on a Tuesday night at the Flatbread Company in Bedford, MA .
We invite family and friends and for every pizza sold, Flatbread donates a few dollars. It seems to me that to be successful, we need a big turn out.
Also a raffle would add some money, but requires getting raffle donations.
Any thoughts? Interest?
We welcome your thoughts. Please include everyone in your emails.
Thanks,
Martha

Hi Martha,

It's in MA. Basically you promote the night to friends and family. The restaurant donates $3 to $5 per pizza sold. You can also have raffles. The night is always on a Tuesday. You also need to hand paint a banner to advertise for the event. All the rules can be found at their website, flatbreadcompany.com <http://flatbreadcompany.com>  under benefit contract. I am happy to coordinate the banner etc if the team is willing to help promote the event.

I'm out of town till may 21 but
I can ride on some Sundays, just depends on the weekend.

Re: PMC Benefit Hi Heather:
Hard to say, as I do not know anything about Flatbread.
Where is Bedford? MA or NH?
And, what type of fund raiser are you thinking? What does it require from us?
Basically we need lots more info, but I am glad you are thinking about Team fundraising.
We are stating to train on Sundays, would that ever be good for you?
Best,
Martha

Martha,
What do think about having a team benefit at Flatbread Company?  I have friends that have done this for another charity and make $800 to $1000. You can also do a raffle for prizes or a 50/50 raffle. Let me know what you think.

Hi Heather,
My name is Stephanie and I run the benefit program here in Bedford. Unfortunately we don't hold benefits for individuals. But I would love to do a team benefit, "Stem cell cyclists". Individuals don't normally bring enough support to the evening.
I have July 30th available. If you wanted to think it over and talk to your team mates and get back to me!
Also, so glad to hear you kicked cancer.

-Stephanie
