Diner dash 2: originally had a bad graphics trail when moving the cursor in game, causing some aspects to be covered up by glitched graphics, managed to fit it by running it in 16 bit colored wi sowed mode. Fixed the trail. Current problems are the mouse cursor graphic flickers occasionally when moving it, causing my eyes to become irritated after a bit. Final problem is the game crashes around every 3-4 minutes of play, making me unable to complete the second level.
Flo is a hard worker at a big stock market company in Dinertown. She's tired of doing all the work and feeling unfulfilled. Flo quits her job, wishing she could work someplace else. She spots a run-down old diner, which she buys. She has to make enough money to fix up the diner. Later after earning more finance, she opens a new restaurant called Flo's Tiki Palace, after earning enough there she then opens a seaside diner called Go with the Flo Fine Seafood Dining, when finished at the seaside diner she opens a dazzling newer restaurant called Chez Flo's.
After establishing many restaurants, an Indian goddess grants Flo a brand-new form and allows her to work at an Indian restaurant located above Dinertown. After proving her worth, Flo went out in her own separate way and is ready to help another hard worker at the company establish his own diner, repeating the cycle.

Diner Dash is a flash-based puzzle game where you play Flo, a restaurant owner. In order to succeed in business, she must keep her diner running smoothly by seating guests and serving them well. There are several different types of customers, and each poses their own challenge. The default customer is a white woman who eats and loses patience at an average rate. All of the other customers can basically be measured against them. Other types include Senior Citizens (old white men) who are very patient but eat slow and hold everything up, Bookworms, who are just like the seniors but are less tolerant of noise around them, Families with crying babies, and impatient, fast-eating Businessmen (who, after Diner Dash 1, start yakking away on cell phones and pissing off everyone around them). And then there are the Businesswomen.
When playing the first game I found it slightly funny and slightly annoying that the worst customers to deal with were the ABWs. But then in DD 2 they gave the Businessmen cell phones, making them even worse than the ABWs. Yes, they are impatient and eat really fast, throwing off my timing (even more than the women) but since they talk on cell phones, they can disturb the other diners, resulting in a lot of hassle in seating them. Bastards.
The basic premise of Diner Dash is that Flo, the proprietress, acquires a run-down diner after leaving the rat race of the business world. If she succeeds at making her first few customers happy with good service and brings in more business, she can upgrade the décor and make a go of her new enterprise.

The entire Digital Game Design and Development program leads to the Senior Game Project. This class requires students to bring together everything they have learned over the course of the program to create a major final project. The Senior Game Project allows students to work as individuals or in groups of any size. Students do not need permission from the instructor to pursue a particular project. The primary requirement is that, by the end of the semester, each student has created a complete, polished, and successful game.

This is the third of the Diner Dash games and has some challenging and cute levels including a blimp and a space station. It works perfectly on my Mac. Two of the others did not so they are programmed differently. Years ago I owned and played all of the Diner Dash games on my PC and I wanted to revisit them. They are highly addictive and very good for hand-eye coordination and reflexes. Plus these old games from 2007-2008 have wonderful music. The later Diner Dash games after 2007 do not have the same excellent construction. If some of the games do not play on your system this site will give you a credit.
Restaurant frustration with these steep costs, typically hovering around 30%, came to a head amid pandemic pressure. Diner sentiment around aggregators has also shifted as restaurant groups bemoan the toll these fees take on a restaurant's bottom line. Sixteen percent of diners believe platforms like DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates and Grubhub do more harm than good for restaurants, according to a recent SevenRooms report, and 37% are motivated to order directly from restaurants to support them.
DoorDash Basic (15%) doesn't include in-app marketing, puts a higher portion of the delivery cost burden on the diner and decreases the size of a restaurant's delivery footprint. DoorDash Plus (25%) and Premier (30%) each offer restaurants access to DashPass, the platform's loyalty program.
Premier offers the lowest diner fees and the largest delivery radius, as well as a new "Growth Guarantee." This offering ensures restaurants that receive fewer than 20 orders per month for pickup, delivery and Caviar will be reimbursed their full commission for that month. Payne said on a media call Monday that commissions will be adjusted in markets where delivery fee commission caps are lower than the Basic level, and that the new pricing plans will have a "negligible impact" on Dasher earnings and DoorDash's bottom line.
