Plot Summary

She reveals to Sanju that she was abused by her cousin when she was young, and that she still suffers from the trauma. Sanju empathizes with her and assures her that he loves her unconditionally. He proposes to marry her the next day, and Geetha agrees. However, their happiness is short-lived as Geetha's cousin finds out about their romance and kidnaps her. He attempts to rape her again, but Sanju arrives in time and rescues her. In a fit of rage, he stabs the cousin to death and gets arrested for murder.
Sanju is sentenced to life imprisonment for his crime. He asks Geetha to forget him and move on with her life, but Geetha is heartbroken and refuses to do so. She visits him in prison regularly and hopes for his release. One day, she goes to one of their old meeting spots, where she slips and falls from a cliff. She survives the fall, but loses her memory. She forgets everything about Sanju and her past. She is taken care of by a doctor, who happens to be Sanju's friend. He tries to help her regain her memory, but fails. Meanwhile, Sanju escapes from prison with the help of his fellow inmates and goes in search of Geetha. He finds out that she has lost her memory and is living with the doctor. He decides to let her be happy with the doctor, as he thinks that she deserves a better life than him.
However, fate has other plans for them. On the day of Geetha's wedding with the doctor, Sanju comes to see her one last time. He meets her at the temple, where she suddenly remembers him and his love for her. She runs towards him, but before they can embrace each other, they are shot by the police who have been chasing Sanju. They die in each other's arms, leaving behind a tragic love story.
