Samefor me. Turns out I used oauth instead of email+password and completely forgot about that. So, after dozens of attempts to recover my password I sign up with google account and the problem was solved.
Same was happening to me guys. Make sure to try signing in THROUGH google, not by typing in your email address. This was the issue for me, as when I tried to send password to email there would be no response because I never set up a password, just signed in through google. Good luck.
If you have forgotten your Zoom password, you can easily reset it through Zoom. However, if you sign in to Zoom through a third-party platform such as Facebook, Apple, Google, or your organization's SSO, you must reset your password within that platform.
Non-SSO Zoom account with standard email and password sign-in
Note: This article provides information on how to reset your password for non-SSO accounts. If you sign in to Zoom through a 3rd-party platform such as Facebook, Apple, Google, or your organization's SSO, reset your password within that 3rd-party platform.
If you received a message that no account was found when you attempted to reset your password, this means that Zoom's system did not find a Zoom account to match the email address and password-login credentials that you entered.
I've searched for a solution but I only find suggestions that involve doing something before the system boots, like accessing recovery mode, but that will not work in this case as this Ubuntu is just an application within a Windows system and doesn't have its own boot process.
Note 2: If you are still using the original Ubuntu subsystem that came with the Anniversary Update, use the command lxrun. Upgrade to the subsystem version distributed via Microsoft Store is recommended.)
Important This answer is (a) for the older WSL1 only, (b) is outdated as it references paths that are no longer used by WSL1, even, and (c) most importantly, can cause filesystem corruption, per Microsoft. Please refer to other answers here for proper methods of changing the password.
The organization users can reset their password themselves. In order to do so, it is mandatory for the user to know their current password. If you don't know or forgot your password, you can follow these instructions to regain access to your account.
If an Administrator has forgotten the password to his/her account, other Administrators can be requested to reset the password. It might be safe for Administrators to have other external email addresses linked to their accounts in cases of emergency. In such cases, they can request the password reset link to be sent to their secondary email address and access it from there.
If the Super Administrator of an organization has forgotten the password, it can be reset only by requesting a reset link to the secondary email address or a verification code to the mobile number. Admins cannot reset the password of the Super Admin to ensure better security.
If you are a personal account user and haven't accessed your account for 180 days, your account will be marked inactive and the data will be deleted after providing multiple warnings to the user via their secondary email address. Refer to this page on inactive accounts for more details. If you want to retain your data but forgot your password, follow the same set of steps as above.
You can reset your login password if you forget it, or if you want to keep your account more secure. If you're the store owner, then you can reset your own password and initiate your staff's password reset.
The default password setting in Proton Mail(new window) is one-password mode. If you use two-password mode with one password to sign in to your Proton Mail account and a second password to decrypt your mailbox, resetting either of these passwords will revert your account to one-password mode. It will make your existing emails and other encrypted data unreadable.
3. Enter your recovery phrase in the space provided. You must enter the 12 words that make up your recovery phrase in the same order they were given to you. Click Reset password.
Step-by-step instructions can be found on the "How to Change Your Password" page on InfoBase. If you are unable to change your password using the links above, please contact the IT HelpDesk at

A long, simple password may be stronger than a short, complex password. You are encouraged to use more than just lowercase letters in your passwords, but if you want a stronger password, add length before you add complexity.
Your password should not contain details about yourself, details about your family/friends/pets, anything shared on social media, or any other information that someone may know about you. Attackers will use data like this when trying to guess your password.
Attackers have access to millions of passwords of actual users, gathered together from thousands of data breaches, and they may compromise your account if your password is in their collection. You can use Have I Been Pwned's Pwned Passwords web page to see if a password that you are considering has been found in a data breach.
Reusing passwords may put your account at risk, because an attacker who has compromised one of your non-A-B Tech accounts may be able to easily compromise your A-B Tech account. A-B Tech cannot prevent data breaches at third-party services and sites.
If you have any suspicion that your password is known to someone else, you are expected to change it immediately. If College tech support suspects that your password is compromised, we will expire your password and assist you with a reset.
Because your password is the main way that we regularly identify you, it is important that you and you alone know your password. A-B Tech staff will never ask you for your password, and you should never provide it. You should never log in as someone else or allow someone to log in as you. You should never write down your password or store it in an insecure way.
I just purchased zorin os 15.2 and just started learning how to use the operating system because l am new to it. About six weeks using the system l forgot the log in password. l tried the online support but not working. Is there any way l can use terminal prompt to reset my log in password.
If you are using a social login method to access your account, such as Google, Facebook, or GitHub, the Forgot password option will not send you a password reset link since you are using your social account details.
If you are not using social login, and you lost access to the email account connected to your Hostinger account, or if you lost access to the account you used for social login, check this article: How to Recover Your Hostinger Account
Many months back I felt there might be a security breach and as such I changed my master password. I wrote it down, sadly that did not save me as I no longer remember any other PW with BW other than the one I created my account with: @
gmail.com.
Regarding self-recovery there are two options, if you have enabled them, that will help. First, if you designated an emergency contact with takeover privileges, they can take over your account and create a new password. Second, if you have created a recent export (backup) of your vault contents, it is possible to create a brand new account and restore your vault data from the backup (note that your password history, items in the trash bin, file attachments, and are not backed up and will be lost).
@Maggi_Mentis This is a public website that anybody can read. Therefore, I would recommend that you edit your post a.s.a.p. to remove the mention of your gmail account. Disclosing that information here will not help any of us solve your problem (we are just users of Bitwarden who provide assistance to other users), but having such personal information openly published on the World Wide Web has the potential to cause you further grief.
However, if your chosen password was not very strong, then it may be possible for you (or for someone with the required technical expertise) to break in to your Bitwarden vault. On the other hand, if you chose a strong master password (randomly generated, with sufficient length), as you should have, then there really is no hope other than finding that piece of paper.
Sorry to read through these threads. If you think about it; I and others would not use a password manager where a lost master password was a hurdle that could easily be bypassed. I hope others reading along here make damn sure they make vault backups and double check their master password is stored somewhere safe.
I've been running my OMV5 NAS at home for almost a year now with no issues however I recently wanted to update some of my webui setting and realised that my webui as well as root passwords are not working anymore. I can still log into both with my user account however I am not a super user and cannot fix above mentioned issues. I've setup my omv to send logs to an email where i can see below message (date and time replaced with xx for privacy):
What I understand from above message is that both my root and admin users have been blocked permanently and can only be fixed usint omv-firstaid command however to run this command I need a super user account which I am not. Am i royally screwed or is there a way to redeem myself ?
While I do keep a record of all the IDs and passwords i setup on my NAS, i believe this Root passworld lockout issue started a while back as I had been seeing (and ignoring) emails from my NAS saying the root account has been locked out due to x number of incorrect attempts. As per my understanding there could be two reasons for this.
2. I'd setup some applications that access data from NAS to whom gave "root" access to avoide nuisanse configuration issues. BIG MISTAKE on my part. Lesson from this ordeal is I'd rather deal with application issues then loose my root account.
