Bruce Bartlett from Mathematics sent me this announcement of a workshop on Discrete Geometry and Visualization at AIMS in October. Konrad Polthier is a top guy in the field, and anyone interested in geometry and 3D graphics should seriously consider going!

Bruce is attending the first three days and has offered to drive students/staff to Muizenberg and back. Please contact him (brucehb...@gmail.com) for further arrangements.

As you may know, AIMS in Muizenberg is hosting a workshop on Discrete Geometry and Visualization from the 8th to 12th October, run by Konrad Polthier from FU Berlin:

The workshop is intended for postgraduate students and interested staff members. I know everyone is busy, but this is a great opportunity. So here is my offer: I will be going to the workshop for the first three days (Mon - Wed), leaving in the mornings and returning in the late afternoons.
