Version 25.3.0 (64-bit)
Based on Qt 6.8.3
Running on Operating System Windows 11 Version 24H2

I am learning how to use this plugin to preview objects:Just playing with it on a cloudy day.

Sequence of events: Viewing Saturn, I picked the Plossl 26mm Ocular on a Celestron C8. That was fine. I then chose the Barlow 2x lens by double-clicking on it. The display updated just fine.

But I don't know how to "unapply" the Barlow. Deleting it did "unapply" but I suspect that there's a smarter way.

Do you see the top-right Oculars menu? The lowest part should be the section controlling the extender/compressor lenses. Rotate through all lenses until there is "none" active.

Thanks, Georg.

I brought up the Oculars configuration window by clicking on the 'wrench" in the screen's upper right corner. There were three entries under lenses: Barlow 2, Barlow 3 and Reducer. Double clicking any one invoked it and it showed in the Oculars drop-down in the top right with its corresponding Multiplicity. I tried each one. To remove its effect, I tried double clicking in a blank spot in the Lenses configuration pane. I tried double clicking on the lens in the top right drop down, but I couldn't figure out how to rotate lenses until there was "none".

I just ended up deleting all lenses from the Oculars Configuration window. I don't have any Barlows.  If I ever need one, I'll just add it back in. As I say, I was really just playing to get a feel for how the preview works. Not critical at all.

Still, the designed way to operate the elements once the instruments have been entered in the dialog is to just select telescope/eyepiece/lens combinations with the arrow keys.

If you happen to not see the arrow buttons, three years ago we had an issue: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/wiki/Common-Problems-for-the-current-version#problems-with-the-oculars-plugin

Thanks, Georg! That fixed it. Arrow_scale was set to 0.
Many, many thanks.
