Time travel in Stellarium

Dear All,

I'm curious about the time travel function of Stellarium.

The maximum year we can put is 99 999.

Does Stellarium have a model for Galactic dynamics?

Will the star positions be more or less accurate if I want to travel in year +50 000 or +99 999  or does Stellarium assume  a static model for the Galaxy and Earth relative position?
