MacOS Catalina Security Update 2021-007 breaks Stellarium

Hello everyone! I'm new here and wonder who else is experiencing this issue:

After updating my MacBook (13-inch, Mid 2012) with Catalina security update 2021-007, Stellarium will no longer launch. The problem appears specific to Intel HD Graphics 4000 specific to some Mac models.

An issue has been opened with the development team.

7 weeks after Apple introduced Catalina Security Update 2021-007, Apple has released Security Update 2021-008 and suddenly Stellarium is working again. Not surprisingly, Starry night and numerous other OpenGL applications which were broken are once again working as normal.
