Display more stars

I have been searching for the setting to display more stars in Stellarium.  I took a picture of Neptune the other night and my picture frame is showing stars but when I zoom in to Stellarium’s view of the planet, I do not get the stars the picture picked up.  It helps with picture rotation to see the stars.  I like my pictures to have the same orientation as Stellarium shows.  I think the setting is something with magnitude, which I tried but still no additional stars show up.  I just downloaded version 25.2 also.

Can anyone provide input.

Did you install extra catalogs for stars already?

I believe I see more now.  In the Configuration window at Tab Extras I downloaded Star Calalog updates to 9 of 9.
