Current Stellarium.
During a lunar eclipse I observe the Moon from Earth.
At totality the Moon is nicely illuminated by light
scattered through the atmosphere. Stellarium dims
and brightens the screen to accommodate luminance
range.
If I observe the Earth from the Moon, I don't see
where that light is coming from.
