Greetings,
When I first installed Stellarium, satellites were tiny white moving dots in the Sky. I like this as it didn't clutter my screen view of the stars. Then one day, the tiny dots disappeared and the big satellite icons now fill the sky. How do I get back to the original little tiny white dots?
Respectfully, Mike

You can toggle icons vs. more realistic white dots in the first page of the Satellites Plugin configuration dialog, option "Show satellites as markers". This and most other settings are described in the User Guide.

Please no PM. Answer here: Maybe you need to enable more satellites (Sources tab). I also see only a few "realistically scaled" white points. Maybe switch off the stars [S] for better visibility.

I tried that to no avail. If I could replace the Satellite icon,
wherever it is located, with a white dot, I would be happy with that.
I looked for it and didn't find it. Anyone know where the satellite icon image file is located?
Respectfully,
Mike

There are two ways of visualisation. Icons, or white star-like dots scaled to magnitude. You cannot replace the satellite icon. You can suppress display of icons for invisible satellites.
