SATELLITES TLE UPDATES

Mike has Classfd.zip on his website. To update now, I have to download, unzip, save the file, use that to update Stellarium.

Can Stellarium be set to do all that and update directly from Mike's site?

In a similar fashion, for those that have a Space-trak account, Can Stellarium log-in and update TLE directly from the master file?

Yes, it can processing zipped files for TLE

In a similar fashion, for those that have a Space-trak account, Can Stellarium log-in and update TLE directly from the master file?

Sorry, but the Satellites plugin does not support authentication and he cannot update TLE from the Space-Track website.

Hi.

Processing zipped files is not mentioned in the manual so I had no idea that could be done. Very happy to see that Stellarium does that.
