Stellarium cache?

Hi,

In the config file I have Stellarium configured to load a local hipslist. That works fine.

While working on a number of property files in the various hips directories and testing them I observed the following a few times:

All changes in these files reflect in Stellarium, except for one or a couple. I keep seeing an older version of the text, while when I visit the url directly (http://[url to hips]/properties), I see the changes I made. When I quit Stellarium, remove this particular HiPS from the hipslist and launch Stellarium, the hips has disappeared from the survey list. If I quit and add the HiPS to the hipslist again. It doesn't reload, but still comes up with the old property file text. Either after making after making changes several times, or just after a certain period of time has passed (?), the changes are there.  

Does Stellarium have a cache? If so where on MacOS? Or what could be causing this?
