Hello All,

I've just downloaded Stellarium and was so happy with the program I made a contribution immediately to the consortium via the web site. Thanks to all the developers!

One early issue I have not figured out is the rendering of stars and planets in the ocular mode. The stars appear much larger and brighter in the ocular mode than actually appear in my telescopic view. I've selected the right telescope and eye piece, but the magnification, resolution, and brightness far exceed what I am seeing through the scope.

Is there another switch I've missed, or is this rendering intended?

Thanks!
Charles Bibart

You can fine-tune the star scales in the sky view options for unaided and ocular view separately.
