BlueBird-6 (NORAD 67232) seems to be missing from the “satellites.json” file. In fact, the NORAD numbers skip from 67218 to 67305. Some extremely bright observations have been reported for BB6, so it would be good to have that available.

NORAD 67232 has name SpaceMobile-006 according to Celestrak's TLE (COSPAR/NSSDC is 2025-309A) - the data was fetched by Satellites plugin in Stellarium.

Hi,

I just loaded a new set of spacecraft TLEs using the plug-in. Stellarium reported “13946 satellites; 0 added; 11192” removed. The JSON file contains no SpaceMobile spacecraft.

Hi Tony.
Instead of name, did you search for catalog #?
You can also just add it manually.

Jay - 67232 is not in the JSON file and Stellarium does not find it.

Sorry, I was wrong - it's Mike McCants' TLEs: https://mmccants.org/tles/classfd.zip

Thanks for trying. However, I added https://celestrak.org/NORAD/elements/gp.php?GROUP=active&FORMAT=TLE and https://mmccants.org/tles/classfd.zip but Stellarium still does not find SpaceMobile-006 (NORAD 67232).

Stellarium does not automatically extract archives.  some
OSes do so, but the pathnames will not be what Stellarium
expects.

It might be a convenience if Stellarium made it easier to
add file:// URLs to the Sources list, but users would
still be burdened with refreshing directories.

NORAD makes TLEs available to Celestrak with the agreement that Celestrak will
not publish classified data obtained, however  legally, from other sources.

Jay - Searching by satellite number does not seem to work. I can try adding the TLE manually. Thanks.
