Telescope does not slew when I press Ctrl+1

Hi to all,
I'm using Stellarium 23.02 on Ubuntu 22.04. I successfully connected my Celestron telescope (it appears as connected and it is visibile the pointer on the stellarium display). But, when I select a star and I press ctrl+1 (I have just one telescope connected) it does not slew anymore.
Also if I press the button "Move to" after selecting a star from the telescopes section it does not move. (The telescope slews without problems by using its handset). Do you know why I cannot move my telescope? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help!
