Which of the sources lists would give me the most comprehensive data for tracking?

Thank you, Jeff

I fear the correct answer for this question does not exist, because the most comprehensive data is not available for public use. The good start point is already included in the Satellites plugin (just check the "Sources" tab in the plugin).

Maybe we (developers and community) can suggest some extra sources, but we should know your targets, because tracking HEO satellites is not the same task as tracking LEO or GEO satellites.

Thank you... There are dozens of lists in Stellarium... are you suggesting that I just use them all?

To further clarify... I'd like to be able to tell guests at public astronomy outings what satellites are flying by...

I also use a 10 Micron GM1000hps for mobile and a GM2000hps in the observatory, and it would be great to image some of these for use at local school systems.

Yes, you can enable all lists from celestrack.com

Jeff, seems you want to ID the naked eye sats that you see during public outings.
You should find all of them in VISUAL. That's a group that I moderate at Celestrak.
It's one of the source files in Stellarium.
Save clutter and use just that one file.
