adding key stroke detection to scripting

Ive been looking thur the scripts to determine how to detect key strokes with out any luck.  Is there a way to add a keyboard listener event handler (in scripting)?

Is there a way to over ride or map keyboard input while running a script and have it return to defaults when the script ends?

Also is there a way to remap the currently defined keys which run these scripts ..

To run scripts of my own choosing? I looked thur the config.ini..

There is no supported way for keyboard interaction.

Keyboard shortcuts for scripts are defined in the script header. See User Guide, section 16.5.1.
