I have Stellarium running on my Raspberry Pi 5. under Debian 12 (bookworm)
I have installed it on arm64 Debian 13 (trixie)
It runs perfectly on bookworm but on trixie it comes up full-screen without access to the control panels.
I have also downloaded the latest version (25.3) from the stellarium website and installed it with snap.
This version, when executed, comes up with a totally black screen also without controls.
Any suggestions where to look for the solution to this issue?

Did you check all options on the Raspberry Pi section of our Wiki on Github?

I don't have an RPi5 to try.

Maybe also try self compilation, it only takes a few minutes on an RPi4, so presumably even less on the 5. Instructions in our github repo, just follow Linux/Debian instructions.

Also then, try the various startup options. You may then store them into the STEL_OPTS environment variable.
