Position Description

The manager has added this to the needs of the requirement. This role
may be expanded or converted into a Business Applications Team Lead
role, not necessarily over Lawson ERP. Supervisory background a major
plus, experience with production support of various business apps in a
healthcare setting, including of course Lawson, would be considered

Our client is currently looking for a Lawson Analyst to join our team
in Palo Alto, CA.

Job Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to help with their 9.0
upgrade. The Lawson Analyst will be responsible for resolving
technical issues within Lawson's financial and human resource suite of
applications, including issues within the Lawson 8.0.3 UNIX
environment. They will also be involved in custom development of "bolt-
on" applications, which may include custom screens, interfaces, and
reports using Lawson's standard set of development tools, including
Lawson 4/GL, Case Tools, MicroFocus COBOL, Forms Designer, and Crystal
Reports.

Required Skills

· Extensive experience working with the Lawson 8.x applications and
toolset, preferably within a healthcare environment.
· Extensive experience working with Lawson's FN and HR suite of
applications, preferably within a healthcare environment.
· Report development experience working with Lawson's standard tools
or Crystal.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills

· Lawson Administration within a Unix Environment, both application
server and portal servers.
· ESS and MSS experience
· BSI Tax SW experience
· Oracle and/or SQL-server experience, both DBA and/or stored-
procedure development.
· Workflow experience
· Smart Notification experience

Minimum Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in related field (i.e. Computer Science or
Information Systems)
