Zipper, Protocol 27 Upgrade (Mainnet vote July 8)

Hello Validators, Yesterday, we announced the timeline for Zipper, Protocol 27. A new version of Stellar Core will be available today; additional releases will continue throughout the next week or so.  Please make sure your software is up to date before the upgrade vote!

Key dates:
June 18, 2026 at 1700 UTC: Testnet upgrade
July 8, 2026 at 1700 UTC: Mainnet upgrade vote

To arm your validator for the upgrade, use the following command:
upgrades?mode=set&upgradetime=2026-07-08T17:00:00Z&protocolversion=27

Reminder: the Testnet upgrade is tomorrow at 1700 UTC.

The Mainnet upgrade is scheduled for July 8, 1700 UTC.  Please make sure to install the latest version of Stellar Core well before then!

Validators! Stellar Core v27.1.0 is now available: https://github.com/stellar/stellar-core/releases Please upgrade your nodes when you can! Best practice is to keep up to date with stable releases! Also, don't forget about the Mainnet upgrade vote July 8 at 1700 UTC. Before then, you must be running Stellar Core >= v27 to stay connected to the network! You can arm your validators for the vote with this command: upgrades?mode=set&upgradetime=2026-07-08T17:00:00Z&protocolversion=27 Thanks!
