Protocol 18 Update: Polaris 1.6.3 & 2.0.5

Hello Polaris Devs,

The SDF's test network was upgraded to protocol 18, and vote for the public network will occur on November 3rd. This upgrade introduces automatic market making functionality to Stellar.

To ensure your Polaris deployments work as expected, please update to v1.6.3 or v2.0.5.

The 2.0.5 release includes the Stellar SDK's v5.0 update which includes the updated XDR needed to construct and parse AMM-related transactions. The 1.6.3 release simply adjusts the horizon response parsing logic to expect additional AMM-related values.

Please note that Polaris v1 will no longer receive updates after December 31st of 2021. The Python SDK will drop also support for the version Polaris v1 uses (2.x) on the same day. It is therefore highly recommended to upgrade to Polaris v2.
