Hey everyone,

Just wanted to remind you that the Q3 testnet reset is scheduled for September 15, 2021 at 0900 UTC.

A reset clears all ledger entries and historical data from both Stellar Core and Horizon. After the reset, you may need to recreate accounts, assets, or offers, and this warning should give you some time to figure out how.

Best practices for dealing with the reset:

FYI: testnet resets and network upgrades are not the same thing.  When the testnet resets on September 15, it will still be running Protocol 17.  When Protocol 18 is released later this fall, we will upgrade the testnet, but doing so will not clear ledger entries.  It will, however, introduce a new feature to Stellar: liquidity pools!

If you want a sneak peak at how liquidity pools will work on Stellar, check out the API spec.  If you have any questions, please let me know!

Hey everyone!  Just wanted to remind you all again that the testnet reset is scheduled for next week.  It's September 15, 2021 at 0900 UTC.  If you're using the testnet and haven't already, please make sure to make a plan to recreate any ledger data you need, including accounts, assets, and offers.  It will get wiped!

If you have any questions, let me know.
