Hey, everyone! Protocol 22 is coming soon!

Key dates:

November 12: Testnet upgrade
December 5: Mainnet upgrade vote

If you build on Stellar, make sure you install up-to-date versions of any and all Stellar-related software you use before the upgrade!

Protocol 22 introduces constructors for Soroban, which make it easier to initialize smart contracts, as well as support for BLS12-381 encryption, which opens up new possibilities for advanced cryptographic functions like zk-SNARKS.
