Resetting the decoder python

I am trying to decode multiple generations using a single decoder, was hoping that reset() might do the job but apparently it does not. Is there a possible way to clear the decoded symbols?

A reset should work. Could you share which version of kodo python you are using and show a minimal example where the reset is not working?
