URGENT ACTIONS and Election Timeframe

I will send the face to face minutes tomorrow, but for now we all have urgent actions:

1. ALL to write 1 paragraph each for the annual report and any photos – 1 week for draft, then 1 week for corrections - SEND TO ALICE
   
1. Treasurer – Shaz
2. Europe – Richard
3. Campaigns – Greg
4. Comms – Cecily
5. Operations – Alice
6. Basecamp – Richard
7. Membership – Greg
8. Fundraising (Birmingham meal, Meat Free May, funding app success)- Shaz
9. Engaging YP – Greg 
   
   
2. Alice to finish the report on the 27th July
   
   
3. ALL to write a series of blog posts – personal experience being part of the SG
   

ELECTION TIMELINE

1. 7th August AGM and nominations open - OUR AGM IS AT 7PM. ADD 'YoungFoEEWNI' to Skype - AP: Greg to facilitate
   
   
2. 7th September Nominations close and elections start – AP: Greg to send emails to Tim – No names on elections
   
   
3. 21st September Elections finish
   
   
4. 22nd September new SG announced
   
   
5. Between 22nd September and 22nd October – face to face – where previous some SG members will attend – AP: Tim Gee to organise

P.S. Remember everyone - we really need to get people signed up to our active membership list (so they can vote in the elections). So, EVERY chance you get - tell people! and tell them its FREE (you could also explain why we're doing it: to make elections more fair (we know how many people should be voting), so that we know what people are interested in, and so that we can put them in touch with other people in their area (through having their postcodes).   .

I go away next week and so its really important to have this report finished by the end of the weekend. Richard and Shaz: please add your bits or email them to me ASAP. 

With respect to photos:

• Greg - could you send me a the pic of the whiteboard you took (just nice decoration for the SG part)
• Cecily?James - Does anyone have the picture that currently features on the leaflet for local groups?
• Greg/John/Richard/Jannat - Are there any other photos from the DEG or from MfM that we can use?
