I've just come across EUYSRA - the Edinburgh University Young Scientific Researchers Association: http://www.eusa.ed.ac.uk/societies/society/10967/, which is "an acting [active?] catalyst for undergraduate scientific innovation and research development".   Although it is aimed more at original research (rather than helping to improve the delivery of research results, which is what we do), there is sufficient common ground to make it interesting to us.

I see from the Facebook "Edinburgh University Ecology Society" wall (http://www.facebook.com/groups/edinburgh.ecosoc/10150756737708013/) that they are meeting on Tuesday 20 March at 18.30 in Appleton Tower LT4, for a talk by Stephen Salter on "How to reverse global warming".   I'll be there - hope that you can come as well.

Robert
