Hey all. I don't know if everyone's migrated to the Steelhead WIKI yet or not, but I'm old fashioned (and can't remember the password) so I'll post this here.

 

Good news: CNN is opening an office in SL.

I am a 77yr old disabled (Post-Polio) woman. Socially active, happy and with many friends. It's difficult to keep very active, and travel easily, due to my need for a wheelchair. I have one in Second Life but I don't use it because it isn't necessary to use one there. I can walk, fly or be transported from one site to another. I don't refer to my time spent here as playing a game. I travel all around the world by searching out new places to visit. Today I must have spent more than an hour at the Star Trek Museum and it's surrounding islands. I took a great baloon ride all around the 3 islands. I also went scuba diving in a fabulous undersea world. Tomorrow I will travel to Tombstone, AZ. I haven't spent any money yet. This is all free! I understand that it's fun to have Linden dollars in AZ so I can buy "Old West" clothes to join in the fun. That's my choice.

BUT..

Notice how she's careful to point out WHICH Tombstone she's going to. I call shenanigans..all the worse because this is a place where LOTS of non-SL'ers are going to see it.
