Theme for the dance next Friday

I've just been reading the minutes from this evening's town meeting
and noticed something that I thought I should bring up.

The theme for Friday week's dance was chosen as "Disco". Not that I
have a problem with the theme at all. However I don't think anyone
realised at the time that Friday week is also Friday the 13th.

Now if you guys want to stay with Disco that's fine but I thought
perhaps it might want to be reviewed given the date.

Eh, save it for July. Everyone agreed on Disco.

 

For personal reasons, I'd like to go through that night without being reminded that it's April 13th. It's someone's birthday, and the pain is still there.

Friday the 13th has always been a lucky day for me! All that luck has to go somewhere doesn't it? I agree with the Central and South Americans that Monday the 13th is the day to watch out for. If anything bad is scheduled to happen it is most likely to happen on a Monday!

Oooooh!!! Fuzz!!! Is it your birthday on the 13th?? I had no idea
you were an aries too! I won't be there for the Friday dance for
certain and most likely the Saturday dance as well (much to my deep
sorrow, I have such a lovely dress for that!) as I'm expecting a
friend down who wants to go out and celebrate my upcoming birthday.
Can you feel the enthusiasm rolling off of me? However, I hope
everyone has a splendid time and I will do my level best to get a
table of refreshments out for Saturday. Besides, Edward, everyone
wants to see you in rainbow bell-bottoms with an afro, or something
I'm sure. *grins* I'm sure Finn's disco balls will be a bit hit as
well! *giggles*
