Since the town meeting was preempted by Emilly's grand Rezday and Taiyou Grand Opening Party, I'd like to mention a few things I was hoping to cover.

My rezday happens to be the 26th of this month. Has a theme been chosen for Friday the 27th, or can we use day to celebrate? Perhaps I can host another Robot Rampage? I have a wonderful free-to-copy robot avatar to give away courtesy of Dr. Phineas Waldolf Steel! (And can Christine make a punch bowl filled with 10W-40?)

Next month, Dr. Mason, Koen and myself will be in El Paso, from August 18th through the 25th.  We should have Grid access, but one never knows.

JJ Drinkwater tells me there will be an exhibit on the American Civil War (or War Between the States or the War of Northern Aggression if you prefer..) in the Caledon Library starting the end of August and going into September. The Library would gladly sponsor a Civil-War themed Ball! (Remember the Ball from Gone With the Wind?)

That is all..until Grid Maintenance is over.

I've got a few gripes and complaints, and yes, curse words will be
involved, that I have to give to Lunar, but if I'm still around after
that, sounds good.

I'm trying to get something set up for this Friday's event. I'll send
out a group notice soon as I get word. Still going to need a sponsor,
though. (Somebody jab Mason with a sharp object and tell him to get to
work)

The Civil War idea would make a great theme for a formal. And since
you've got hands on the grand prize, then I see no reason why the 27th
can't be geared towards the robots/androids/mechanical beings of
Second Life.

I believe my Nurse, Katat0nik Pidgeon, has offered to sponsor an event to draw attention to her art galleries, footwear, and body art. As soon as they slip the hamsters back in the wheel that powers the Grid I'll track her down and get a commitment out of her.
