MST3K on a Parcel?

What made my eyes pop out is that this *replaces* Quicktime.
 
What I'd like to know is will this new feature allow multiple viewers to sync up to the same part of the movie, no matter when someone joins in? That would solve a lot of problems...

Tensai, after the other night's meeting, bought a video player that
streams video and can do so equally to each viewer. Not sure how that
works or the particulars but the scripting/technology is out there.

Bucky Barkley makes a good one - it allows several people to stream
different videos at the same time on the same parcel.
