Allie writes: I am a long time fan with a small collection of movie/tv
props and costumes. I have been recently directed to the steampunk
genre and find it quite interesting.

Asylum writes: I am interested in learning more about the steam-punk
society. The time frame fascinates me... I currently do the Pirate
reenactment and go to most of the ren faires and Pirate events
happening in and around the state... So, I wanted to branch into

Society members used to use this group to discuss a wide range of
topics. Then most of the activity moved to facebook (maybe because
people were already using facebook, or maybe because we post our
events using the Facebook Event function. There has been very little
discussion on Facebook - it seems like people look at the Wall and the
events and not the discussion section.

Feel free to try to stir things up. There are a lot of interesting
things we could be discussing.
