Fred Jeska, Judy P. and I are going to build an approximate copy of
the time machine used in the 1960 movie "The Time Machine". It will
be a prop for our Halloween Party and for a time travelors pool party
next year. It may find it's way to other events.

We need some donations of time, parts (and cash if possible) to make
this the best possible project. Fred will be dividing up the
construction of various elements between volunteers.

We are looking for the following:

A red leather button tufted chair that looks Victorian
a five foot diamter microwave transmission disk
Two conically tappered metal or plastic waste baskets not over 12"
high.
a 12 volt to 110 volt inverter
a 12 volt marine, storage or car battery
12 volt lights, motors and fans
Brass, copper, and scrolled decorative bits
four - three or four inch plastic tired casters
enthusiastic positive-attitude volunteers

There is also a performance element to this project: We are looking
for someone to write and perform a ballad about the fantastic
inventrion and its noble inventor. (H.G. Wells?) . We will need
someone to dress and act the part of the inventor.

12-14" section of 8" diameter cylinder
two tapered buckets 16-18 inches at the wide end 12-14" tall
battery, lights, motors, gears, pulleys, bells, spark generators
12volt pneumatic solenoid
A red leather button tufted chair that looks Victorian
a five foot diamter microwave transmission disk
a 12 volt to 110 volt inverter

I am about to schedule back to back meetings for those who will work
on the time machine and planning and set building for the halloween
party. The meetings will be at my house and partially in my barn, and
will probably be followed by a work session moving dirty/spidery
things (bring gloves for that part).

We should get this started sooner, rather than later.

If you are interested in participating, please respond and indicate
your schedule availability (evenings and weekends)
