Steampunk Steam Train Weekend - Virginia City NV

Join the Sacramento Steampunk Society, the Great Basin Costume Society
and High Desert Steam for a great Steampunk Weekend excursion to
Virginia City, Nevada. Ride restored 1914 Pullman cars behind a live
steam engine, tour the town, shop for antiques, learn historical
dancing, and enjoy a fun steampunk concert by Vagabond Opera in the
historic Piper's Opera House.

Three hour trainride ($50). Saturday dance and concert ($20 advance,

Here is a costumers event worth traveling for: We will have a
Steampunk Steamtrain weekend with great fun in Virginia City, NV and a
Victorian Steampunk Ball with dance lessons, dancing, and a Steampunk
Concert by Vagabond Opera on Saturday evening at the historic Piper's
Opera House. Steampunk vendors are invited to sell their wares during
the Ball.

This is a joint venture of the Great Basin Costume Society, the
Sacramento Steampunk Society, and High Desert Steam. For the full
